The George Hotel
I booked a superior room which was very comfortable and clean. We overlooked the river and had a double aspect room (317). Staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to see that we were happy.

Delta Hotels by Marriott Newcastle Gateshead
The pool was fab - clean changing rooms, and not too deep so that my kids (3 & 6 years old) could touch the bottom in most of the pool. We swam every day - loved it!!

Cobblestones Cottage at Lovelady Shield
The property had lots of equiptment for cooking. The maintenance man and cleaner were extremely friendly and helpful. The outside could do with some care and attention to update . We had a lovley break here and would go again.
