"Set in gorgeous surroundings, the field barn has everything you need for a rural retreat. It was always warm (something which we considered before booking it for our December stay) and we felt at home right away. Beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the oven worked well. Lots of opportunities to go on walks directly from the property too. We like to stay in beautiful places and this ticked that box! "A pleasant cottage, but there is no access to back garden as 2 very large dogs were there. They also scratch / jump at the back door (in lounge) in the middle of the night! Front garden not as pretty as picture with some dog mess and dogs watching through gate. Lastly boiler is in bedroom so you can hear when it comes on. "
