"I think the property is well situated close to old town lucerne and shops and dining. The hotel has an adjacent restaurant which is great. The property is close to train if travelling by train and close to lake lucerne if you want to book a boat excursion. Staff was friendly and attentive to needs and suggestions of what to do. Great place would recommend"

"Our stay at Hotel Astoria was a pleasant experience. The rooms were quiet except when the staff was cleaning the rooms above ours's. The breakfast was good with a variety of fruits, cereals, breads, as well as the standard heated trays of eggs, bacon, etc. About the only complaint is with the bathroom. It is not senior friendly with an extremely slippery tub surface and nothing to support oneself. Maybe a child could use the tub but it was difficult for an adult sized person to get in or out....
