"I am giving it 2 stars only because I eventually got a comfortable bed to sleep in, but the service and cleanliness were unacceptable. Despite having my confirmation, front desk staff members Alejandro and Beckie insisted they couldn’t find my reservation. - For the first 20 minutes, they blamed Expedia's technology. - When they finally located the booking, it turned out to be an internal error. - Instead of apologizing, they threw an absent manager named Heather under the bus, claiming she mistakenly checked me in as another guest and left for the day without fixing it. While waiting, Beckie and Alejandro openly bickered in front of me about chores, with Alejandro snapping at her about checking the pool before asking him to wash towels. Beckie was explicitly rude to another guest who asked for plastic cutlery. The moment he walked away, she called him "ridiculous" for asking for "too much." Another staff member named Peter then chimed in, asking her, "What are you? The spoon na$i?" That comment made the environment feel toxic and hostile. When I finally got to my room, it was clear the bathroom floor had not been properly sanitized—there was hair from a previous guest still on the floor. The hot tub and pool were completely shut down during our stay due to a contamination incident (a child defecating in the pool). Accidents happen, but paired with the awful service, it just ruined the whole stay. I unfortunately won’t be a returning guest."
