"the night before i stayed at an expedia super 8 hotel, which was a disgusting hole. the hamilton was a breath of fresh air. walking in the front door was a welcoming staff, it backed up on the same shore, the building is a little dated, but, very well maintained. the room was clean, neat, comfortable. I don't travel much, I understand most are franchises, I'll never look at another Super 8 again. Mackinac City, was a very nice experience,,,, thank you Hamilton"

"This place is great to just go and relax and never have to leave the resort. The employees were great and helpful and kind and the hotel and room were very clean. Both restaurants on the property were great along with all their other amenities. Highly recommend!"

"Everyone is super nice and friendly and the road to Mission Point is spectacular tree lined path & flowers ! We brought our bikes, so we hopped on & rode right there - but there's a horse taxi to take you there as well. Many places to dine right on the property & even a little place to play put put golf. There are chairs on the lawn to relax in at the end of the day. The whole Mackinac Island experience was spectacular - we can't wait to come back !! PS. Reservations include the luggage transfer...

"My husband and I had the absolute best time here! The host provided a delicious breakfast every morning and wonderful cookies at tea time in the afternoon. The stay really enhanced the charm of staying on the island! We also had the pleasure of meeting the Innkeepers dog, Roma! "
