"This hotel is in the lovely village of Malamocco in a beautiful building which is hundreds of years old. However, the bathrooms seriously needed renovation. I tried to explain this to the mana"

"Villa Casanova is a delightful small family run B and B situated close to the shops, restaurants and vaporetta stop, making it the ideal place to stay. The rooms are spotless and very quaint on the top floor. The breakfast choice is superb with all tastes catered for, cereal, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, cold meats and hot croissants. One of my favourite meals is Caprese and although I’ve never had it for breakfast before I thoroughly enjoyed having it every morning. My friend and I enjoyed our...

"The room Was great, all new and very comfortable bed. Place is spotless and in a great location in Treviso, the staff was very helpful and a very easy check in. If you want to be right in the center of town in a new room with great amenities it’s the perfect stay. I highly recommend this place and wish we had more than one day there."

"The place was challenging to find, but all of Venice is a challenge. It’s a bit longer to walk from the train station than we thought, but we were pleasantly treated to a great room in a great location. The room was clean and extremely spacious! It was located in a great area close to the water taxis. Easy walking to most attractions. Lots of great restaurants nearby. I would recommend this place. Absolutely charming!"

"The room smelled like raw sewage. It was disgusting. Maybe because it's Venice, IDK, but yuk!"

"Great"

"It was a great location."

"On arrival the young male receptionist was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We booked the premium double with views out to the busy canal and although a bit noisy at times, this added to the Venice experience. Our room was serviced every day and the complimentary tea and coffee and sometimes pastries were available. The hotel is very central and in a fantastic location. Whilst all the reception staff were polite, a few were more formal (I think it’s a family run hotel but unsure). As we...

"The room feels clean, bed sheets feel fresh. Air conditioning works well. Location is close to the ferry terminal coming from airport and heading to Burano island. The checking reception is in a separate building close by, not too inconvenient. Communication with the hotel ahead of the trip is easy."

"Our favourite place out of the entire two weeks we were travelling around Italy! Excellent room and staff service was great, (thank you Massimo), very spacious and everything was new! Felt really safe around the area but the location might add an extra 10 min walk from the main Venice attractions compared to if you were to stay closer to the San Marco area. 10/10 would recommend."

"Air conditioning didn’t work. Room was cramped and noise from outside made it hard to sleep."
