Beyond the location, I was very impressed with the rooms. They have been newly renovated and feel incredibly fresh and modern. Tried to rent a movie in room after a half hour of trying was informed after calling three times it was down for maintenance will not stay again. Beds were comfortable "

If you simply require a place to sleep in the Whyte Ave. neighbourhood, the Commercial is a good option. The historic pub downstairs is a bonus. Lots of dining spots within a couple of blocks, plus the nearby Farmers Market, bookshops, and many great local businesses. "
