"The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. The wide choices at breakfast were excellent. The only slight setback, in my opinion, was the lack of draught beer In the bar. I can't wait to return to this hotel and magical Rye."

"Lovely property and really enjoyed our stay. Staff was helpful, bar was lovely, room was spacious and homely."

"Advertised as an apartment with breakfast included. But in reality is a chalet bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was 2 mini yogurts in the fridge, a couple of tiny croissants and cereals. "The property was in a fairytale house in a magical location. All the little extra touches - such as bathrobes and slippers. daily complimentary water, chocolate etc - were truly the icing on the cake. The staff showed a real pride in working at the Castle and truly helped to set the atmosphere. Check-in and out were brilliant. The restaurant was superb with a jaw-dropping view of the Castle and sumptuous breakfast. If you think I seem enthusiastic it is because I am!"
