Lovely little hotel in a fantastic location. Clean room, good shower, can’t ask for more really. Was really nice to be able to pop back to the room for a quick freshen up whilst wandering around Melacca as it’s super close to the action. My only criticism would be that the air con was a bit loud and occasionally woke us up but nothing too serious, not enough to knock them down to 5 stars, and most importantly it kept the room nice and cool!

Hotel and staff are fantastic! They made our stay enjoyable, and helped with information about the local area and amenities. Be prepared for street noise. The road is busy, and there is pedestrian noise at all hours.

Generally a good stay with efficient, friendly staff. My only issues were the air con which was a very warm 22C and i had to lower to 16C to get an acceptable coolness. The hot water in the shower was at best lukewarm. Location is excellent.

Good hotel to consider

At red house / stadthuys and Jonker Street, super convenient location if you place to visit this area, staff are polite, room are nice, only need to improve mattress, can feel the spring. Please review your bath tower, you say safe the world, but tower so thick so heavy, it's a burden for the world. 1 dissapointed, the spoon use by previous people, staff never wash and put back

Best location in Malacca

The best place to stay in Malacca, right at the center of the old town, a building behind the Christ Church Melaka. With a 7-11 at the entrance, the weekend market and Hard Rock Café and Jonker Street, it’s literally in the middle of all the action. And friendly people at the reception!

Love the location with friebdly hotel staff

We stayed for 3 days 2 nights and the hotel is located at the heart of Malaca central and is walking distance to Jonker Street, Riverside and the heritage site and the hotel is one of the heritage house. The staff are friendly and helpful such as Ms Tayeh. The hotel room is clean and cosy and we will come back to this hotel again.

The only negative aspect of the room: the A/C unit blows air directly on the bed. No way to avert/deflect the air elsewhere regardless of the swing panel. Fan only became too hot, A/C on directly above dehydrated us over night.

Location is perfect for easy access to good, shopping & sights. The room had a good standard of cleanliness. It has Heritage in the name but the only thing that is truly heritage is the building and location. The furniture and decorations are very modern but also comfortable and convenient.
