The room toilet bowl is not stable. Can be shaking. Balcony asked to open but no staff came over. Tv signal Super poor. Entrance can’t use the side door. Cooking not able to use.
Had to line up for 45 minutes just to check in. Door to kitchen balcony could not close so there was a security issue. Towels were old and worn out, felt more like gunny sacks. Will not consider this place again for future visits.

SHIT hotel I blacklisted
Worst service ever. Official check-in 2pm-7pm but when I checked-in at 5pm, 1 of the 2 room I booked not ready. Booked together but on different floor, absolutely no request was accommodated. Hence We gathered in 1 room first & Receptionist supposed to notify us once the other room is ready but it didn’t happen till I confronted at front desk at 7pm. Cited late checkout @1pm is allowed despite so late checkin. The duty receptionist said he knows nothing about it as the previous lady off duty. Each room booked for 3 person. First room found without towel, safe & TV remote not working. Hotel ran out of toothbrush when I requested for 3rd toothbrush . Didn’t send us hair dryer as requested. Bathroom flooded (slow drainage). Wardrobe handle dropped. I have been travelling for the past 20 over years, this is the worst experience I ever had. MAHKOTA Hotel, I will remember this disappointing name. No apology from anyone of them, don’t even need to talk about refunding. Now let me see what reply HOTEL.com can give, otherwise just switch booking apps I believe.
Very old and tired requiring much needed upgrade and refurbishment.

2 nights stay at apartment
Well just that i felt the hotel should really go through renovation. It's like going back on time to the 1990's I felt it's okay not too bad just the furniture is just dated. The staff are friendly and helpful.
everything is ok . The only problem is with the water tab sink in the kitchen ( due to pressure ) sounds so loud . Informed counter staff upon check out .
Worst hotel apartment I've went thru so far. 0 number of towels were given. Room is dirty. Water pressure super slow in one of the toilet and the other room is practically worst than urine water pressure. From level G all the way to the room, the environment is very unpleasant. Room is 6078. Shall not recommend this hotel to other people.
All about hotel was okay except for the bathroom. The pipe is not functioning.

Nice hotel
A bit if a distance from Jonker Street. Walkable when the weather is cooler, but I ended up taking a taxi back and forth as it was too hot to walk in. Very nice room for the price, but everything else there is quite expensive (food etc). Also, the hotel is made up of flats and mine ended up being quite a distance from reception.
Carpark is very clastophobic with tight corners and lack of lighting... near to creepy. We parked at level 1 instead of trying to navigate up the carpark risking scratching our rented car.
The main door lock was jammed & looked like it got forced open before with the sides rotted and chipped. Upon entering, we were greeted with a musty moldy smelling room. Floors are clean but all furnishings are mostly in bad condition (ie. moldy, chipped, stained, etc.). We were even afraid of leaning on the balcony railings for fear of it giving way as the metal parts are rusted and cement chipped off.
Toilet is cramped with moldy & cracked mirror. The bathtub is stained and chipped. Aircon is so far still working ok but not that cold - with water stains & mold around it and all over the ceilings.
What's worst is that I thought the rooms have WIFI, but apparently, no. They only have WIFI at the first floor lobby where groups of people would gather to use their phones. We were only told when we checked in and had to purchase a mobile data card to use our phones in the room.
TV is a very vintage 14" box with only 2 channels working over 10+ channels - no cable channels at all.
In short, no entertainment in room at all. And room service is not in sync with their room rates too. Food is priced just like 5star hotels where their quality is even less than 1star.
The quality of the room is not worth the money saved.
Mahkota was essentially resort apartment, so don’t expect the decor or facilities to be as hotel. Does not provides amenities like toothbrush. Tap was rusty and comes with yellow water.
Last straw was the description given being WiFi is provided, yet it was available only on the first floor (for public) which I could not tap into even when I live on the third level. You need to purchase WiFi separately if you want to have internet access in your own room.
Only good point was it’s location. Less than 5 mins walk from lobby to opposite Mahkota parade. Located in the danraran district, so you can get food and to shopping mall easily.
