Great location in the center of Malaga old town. A little loud at night, so earplugs would be handy for anyone sensitive to noise. Everything, including the beach is located within 15 minute walk so super convenient. The cafe downstairs is first class and staff are very friendly. The room is clean and nicely decorated, not massive but comfortable. There is no lift, so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Bag storage is available, which works really well. Overall a great place :)

We had a wonderful stay at Picnic Dreams. We stayed on the top floor with the terrace and it was perfect. Location couldn’t be better. You are right in the heart of the city Centro and we easily walked to dinner and drinks. Staff was so nice and attentive. When we come back to Malaga we will definitely be staying at Picnic Dreams again!

Lovely boutique hostel

We stayed on the top floor. Staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, it is a small room so there is not a lot of storage space, but the outdoor terrace is huge. Location is amazing for exploring the city. Would highly recommend.

Nice stay close to the center of town

Nice stay in a very comfortable place very close to the central shopping area, and very close to good restaurants and the old town. Relatively small room, but sufficiant for a couple of days stay. However, parking is a problem, as it is difficult to find a normal space to park in the streets, and you have to park in parking house a long way away from the hotel.

Great location, right in the center. Room was cleaned everyday. Hotel was very clean overall. Good coffee and breakfast at the cafe at rhe lobby. Cons: np elevator, small room, tiny bathroom and not very comfortable bed.

We love this little hotel

We love staying at this hotel - the location is fabulous - the staff are welcoming and accommodating for different times of arrival etc - it is spotlessly clean and stylish interior - we didn’t get chance to have breakfast because we were in a hurry so we bought croissants from the hotel coffee shop to take away - the food/cakes are home made. We will definitely stay here again - thank you to the team at picnic dreams hotel 🙏

This was a last minute late night booking and I was so pleased with the rate and the double room for 3 nights. The room was at the top of the building with en-suite and large terrace. It was very peaceful despite being a few steps away from a beautiful and busy square with lots of restaurants and shops. The hostel had a cafe which had affordable and delicious breakfasts and staff were always pleasant and helpful. I would go back.

The location is very central, easy to access to everything, the cafe is cute, coffee and food were good, but noisy at night. As there's a nightclub right opposite our room.

We stayed in a private room where the Airconditioner did not cool at all it worked more like a fan. The toilet is just too small where its difficult for even 1 person to stand. The door of the toilet did not close at all

The hostel experience was nice, but the room has just the minimum to be considered decent. No space in toilet to put any stuff and I struggled to take a shower, because the shower cabin is really tiny. There is a bar downstairs, so it might be a bit noisy until midnight. The staff was nice and welcoming.

Malaga-July 2023

The room and the location were alright. However, my experience was terrible because of the following: -One of the two beds had bed bugs that have bitten my friend -We found a cockroach -The bathroom was always smelling terrible from the drains, even if we also tried to leave the balcony door of the bathroom open -The shower was extremely small that you could barely do the necessary moves in order to wash yourself -The shower head was broken with a result to spray water outside of the shower and ending up with a pond after a shower -Some of the towels and the bed sheets provided were either ripped or dirty -The window doors wouldn't be sound proof so you could hear the noise from the bars opposite of the hotel (mostly a problem for Fridays and Saturdays that they were busy) -There were no washing lines in the balcony, so we used the balcony rails to leave our towels dry. However, the balcony rails were rusty and ruined our personal towels. The service was nothing special but okay. Overall, a bad experience considering the cleaning and bug issues we had
