"Really liked the relaxed atmosphere right on the beach. Staff were Fijian friendly with wide smiles - Bula every time ! Need a better bar tab system when in a group and a better swimming pool but other than that an affordable and central location. Will be back."

The staff were very friendly, helpful and seemed to be happy to be working at the Marriott no matter what they were doing...and had beautiful singing voices which we often heard if a celebration was held or a person was leaving. "We had a constant stream of problems during our stay with the Double Tree. The room was not as nice as we expected the curtains had holes from moths and some of the lights were burned out in the main room so it felt like a dark cave. We found a dead cockroach in the main room on the first night that was not cleaned up for 2 days. A second roach showed up in the bathroom the very next day too. The shower was fantastic and lived up to the pictures. Shower towels were the most frequent issue....

"Only good for overnight stays as opposite the airport. But more expensive than other hotels past the airport. Good pool but lacking seating. Gets taken quite fast. Restaurant service was painfully slow. Got my food after an hour wait. Not very energy efficient as all rooms have aircon going with the louvers windows open next to the front door. What a waste of energy. Room was ok with good amenities. Would I stay again yes but only overnight. My other hotel on the main road was far better and...
