"This is our most memorable stay in Japan. We had an exceptional room with private rooftop onsen and incredible views. The staff and management were especially helpful and more importantly they were sincere. Their recommendations were fantastic. Manazuru is a lovely, manageable, not over saturated town with limited tourist influence and it might be hard to find a better place to stay than this one. It can be viewed as expensive but in Japan you pay for what you get and the value was fantastic. ...

"Western-style comfort combined with Japanese hospitality—a great choice for international visitors as well.
We’re Japanese and stayed here while attending an event in the area. I appreciate the thoughtful and elaborate hospitality that traditional Japanese ryokans are known for, and take pride in it as part of Japanese culture. At times, though, it can feel a little overwhelming.
This hotel strikes just the right balance. Everything is clean, the staff are kind, and the hospitality is warm and...

"This place is great for a little escape away from the crazy cities of Japan. After visiting Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto, the crazy crowds, crowded trains we stopped off here for a couple days before our trip back to Narita Airport. Its a quick train from Atami to Usami. Its a small, quiet town on a beautiful beach. The hotel itself is dated but immaculate, polished tile floors, the public and private baths on the property are amazing. Its a short 5 minute walk to the beach. I would recommend a taxi...

"綺麗で広くて快適に過ごす事が出来るオススメ宿です。
サウナもあり、一泊では全てを堪能出来ないので連泊したかった…。
歩いてすぐにバス停もあるので、スムーズ且つ、フリーパス対応路線で便利です。
大抵の物は揃ってるし、グリルも立派なのでBBQも楽しめました。

"Loved loved loved! Wished I had booked this for the entire trip and probably will book again if I return. The home was thoughtfully curated and exactly as pictured. Very scenic drive and quiet neighborhood. Instructions were straightforward with check-in/route/guidelines and host was very responsive. Note: if you are using public transport and have more than a back pack, I suggest catching a ride from the drop off point to the home."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and the property itself is beautiful. Such a unique idea with the late check in and late check out. It made it an easy transition from arriving mid afternoon from Kyoto and transitioning to our ryokan after the afternoon check out. Drinks were well made and the public bath was so welcome at the end of a long day exploring the Hakone area. The complementary snacks and drinks in the room was also a nice touch.
We arrived early...
