"Staff - front desk folks were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. One particular individual, Arish was the one who stood out for me. His kind, calm demeanor and bright smile calmed me when I informed him of my delayed flight. He offered a coffee and water and made sure I had a workspace at the Lounge. Lounge - I had dinner at the lounge on Tuesday evening, and the waiter was so accommodating with my dietary restrictions. He didn't make me feel like I was a nuisance or strange for asking for a customized meal. I regret not taking his name, so he too, can get recognized for his outstanding service. A big Thank you to the chef that prepared my meal just how I wanted it! Front door staff - They are all wonderful no matter the time of day, and I felt that they were always so helpful and caring and making sure that I was cared for."

"Very pleasant staff and a great breakfast. Hotel room was noisy. Could hear TVs in the other rooms and guests talking loudly in the hallway past midnight. Room was clean but quite basic. I expected more for the price. "

"Great location and comfortable big rooms. Pretty good gym for a hotel. Breakfast was ok, omelette, sausage, waffles plus cereal, bread, pastries and yoghurt. Staff were excellent. Ok had a minor issue with the toilet in my room and they put a goody bSg of chocolate etc in my room which was a nice touch. "

"I always stay here, but the first room they assigned me smelled like cigarettes. Surprised and not at all impressed. The staff and management were great in accommodating me."

"I was refused parking by the valet. Apparently my truck was too high for the valet to park it. I have never had issues with my truck getting parked by other valets in the past. This valet in the process of denying parking also didn’t assist my mother (who uses a walker) and I with our luggage. I did not appreciate the service this time around. "

"Everything about the room was fine, except there was a wedding or something going on and the end result was a constant stream of noisy intoxicated people talking and slamming doors between about 2 and 4 AM!"

"After many years of travelling, we stayed at our first bed & breakfast at No.5 East. Beautiful old mansion with beautiful rooms to stay in. Nice area with restaurants and shopping around the corner. Continental breakfast was great and the Latte’s exceptional. The hosts were amazing and easy to talk to. We will certainly stay again on our next visit to Winnipeg. 5 stars from us"
