It was unpleasant even to take off our shoes and walk around the room in slippers. We also noticed bugs running around the room. Everything felt old, poorly maintained, and unclean. "The hotel is in a really convenient location, close to great restaurants and the centre of Lille. Great, spacious bedroom with comfy bed and good quality towels and robes. Breakfast was good and the roof terrace was a perfect place to enjoy a drink on a beautiful evening. There were a few minor issues with the room but these were soon fixed when reported to reception. I would happily stay here again."

"We loved this place. It was a cozy room in an old walk up, with lots of character. George is also an amazing chef and runs the restaurant underneath. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Check in was contactless and easy, with clear instructions. Wish all are accommodations were as great as this one. Walkable to the Citadel, shops, restaurants. George also created a handout with recommendations for other local shops/restaurants that are worth visiting. Would definitely book...
