Overnight stay on way to or from the port

Second time we have stayed here it’s a great place to stay on route to and from the port.check in easy parking great. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is in a very convenient location when travelling down to Southern Spain. They do take dogs (despite Expedia site saying they don’t) and have great grounds to walk around. The hotel has a nice cafe (with outside and inside eating) as an alternative to a formal restaurant.

We had a nice stay, The rooms were a little worn but clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful but a little slow when it came to service. The pool was lovely and the grounds were small but very pretty. Would I stay again yes.

Inside the room, they kept it very clean. Two main beds were very comfortable. Third one was a little cramped with space. Overall we had a good night sleep and good stay on our way to Madrid from Granada.

Overnight to the south

Great hotel just off motorway so easy to get to. Parking good. Staff friendly and polite. Food we had in the bar area was excellent. Definitely would return and recommend.

Good value and convenient stop with easy parking.

Great comfy beds. The noise from the road meant that we closed the balcony door at night but efficient air conditioning. Breakfast buffet was excellent. We opted to eat at the cheap and cheerful restaurant across the road which was brilliant value - but not stylish! Swimming pool was good

It is a purpose built hotel on edge of town, right by the side of the motorway. There was plenty of outdoor parking, some of which provided shading from the sun. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and sun terrace although there was a lot of noise from the motorway traffic. As is usual at a Parador there were English speaking staff on reception and at the bar. However, there were none in restaurant which did cause some issues. The whole hotel looks tired and is in need of at least some redecoration. The bathroom was particularly tired and the shaving mirror incorrectly fitted so that it rotated left and right rather than up and down. This meant you had to bend down to use it. Although, at dinner, the restaurant was less than half full the service was rushed, leading to mistakes. The waitress who seemed to be in charge seemed to create an air of tension amongst the other waitresses. I ordered turbot. When it arrived half of it was uncooked. My wife had a lamb shank which came with no vegetables nor an option to order any. It was the same shambolic service at breakfast. The same person who was stressing staff at dinner was in charge with the same results. First, she brought coffee to the table, which we had not ordered. We wanted tea. Second, she took an order for a cooked breakfast from me but not my wife. As it happened, she did not want anything cooked but she should have at least been asked. The waitress then brought three different plates for the two of us!

A favourite Parador.

This Hotel is one of our favourites. We stay here twice every year on our way from Bilbao down to our house in Southern Spain & then on our return trip.From front of house welcome to the Maintenance men everyone had a welcome & a smile. Food excellent.

Manzenares was just a stop over on a roadtrip, it suited our needs. The evening meal though a tad expensive, was delicious.... And I am a fussy eater. We had a walk into town, it was siesta time and like a ghost town. It looked like it was once a very prosperous town.

Pleasant and relatively cheap Parador. Very friendly staff, and excellent local food in the restaurant. Good accessibility and parking, and the road noise doesn't filter into the pool facing rooms.
