The Pitlochry Hydro Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We booked a large room and got upgraded. This hotel is sort of like a castle. High ceilings and we had nice view of the forest. We didn't use the spa or restaurant, but they looked good. Staff were very helpful. They had a lift, but we were on the main floor anyway. Plenty of parking."

"Room was a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be, based on photos on booking site. It was very clean and the large double bed was super comfortable. I’m not a fan of a shower of a bath and was disappointed to have to step in and out of the bath to shower. Also the shower gel dispenser in the shower was broken. The restaurant was closed for us on a Thursday night, so can’t comment on the food. Overall I’d say this was a good clean place to stay but I’d have liked a bigger room for the money I paid."

"Hotel is a great place and location. Fantastic pool and rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Hotel interior feels a little dated now and would benefit from a light refresh, carpets especially . Overall recommend d a stay."

"This was our very favorite stay of our entire Scotland trip. Helen and Tim have created something really special at Gulabin Lodge. We loved the proximity to hiking and the amazing facilities. It was such a good experience that we will be booking here again the next time we visit."

"Absolutely amazing and stunning accommodation. Everything here is perfect, from the interior to the hot tub, to the glorious views. When we walked in for a 3 night stay, we immediately booked a further night We will deffo be booking up for a full week next year Thankyou for such a wonderful stay"
