"The property has been updated beautifully and my room was clean and welcoming. Minimal carpet is a big plus. The private balcony was my favorite place to enjoy breakfast. Will definitely visit again!"

"The good: staff was over the top friendly, cheerful, helpful, couldn’t do enough for you. The restaurant Drift is amazing. Bar is great, food is excellent, service above and beyond. The not so good: Beach chairs are reserved at 7am when they open but aren’t physically sat in until 10:30-11:00. We got to the beach at 8:30 and got chairs but not along the waters edge while we watched the chairs in front of us sitting empty for 3 hours. Doesn’t seem right or fair to me. Our room was immaculate however we were given a 1st floor standard room with no view - shame on me for using Hotels.com and not understanding which building my room was in. We were in the older building and it was noisy as the occupants above us were stomping around late into the night. Always ask for the NEW tower when booking a room. Our room was equipped with a full kitchen which was a surprise but of no use to us for a one night stay. It’s a fantastic family oriented resort and I highly recommend it for families with young children. "

"Checkin was easy. location was excellent for us. good center point for travel to Sarasota, Siesta Key, Tampa. Lots of room, big living room. Beds were ok. Rooms need a proper cleaning, and update. In this day and age how hard is it to get clean accommodations. There is no excuse, terrible housekeeping staff and poor property management. Worst part - The bathroom Dirty/stained bedding, towels, wash cloths. Dirty/moldy bathroom, was a used face cloth in the shower..disgusting. Hair on the walls and floor. dirty/moldy caulking throughout. rusty, nasty fixtures. toilet seat looked like you could get a disease if you sat on it...how hard is it to get a $20 toilet seat? nasty smell from the bathroom when using water, plumping/septic issue. "

"The place its so outdated the carpets are so dirty that smells old and it looks like a homeless shelter than a inn. The. Building is breaking apart. The location its ok across the street from publix and right next to a taco bell. And for that price its so expensive ."
