"This hotel is in the process of a renovation. I wish this was told to me before I reserved the room. There was no ice machine. I get it you’re renovating but when I was told that I could go to “WaWa’s” at 10pm for ice! I didn’t have a car and WaWa’s was DOWN THE HILL, across the street. "Staff was AWESOME. It smelled and appeared clean from.check in to room. The room itself needed help. The ac/heating unit had cracks, the telephone was very dated missing parts and kinda scary to touch it looked loike it had food or something dried into the cracks of it, gross. There were also some obvious reairs that had neen made to the walls and caulking around the doors that looked less than professional. "Only they stayed here one night as we were traveling down to South Carolina, but I thought the hotel was beautiful easy check in with a digital key. They had a beautiful pool with hot tub and they had a very nice gym. My husband went and enjoyed the breakfast, although I didn’t get to go down to look at it, but he did say it was very good.!! "When I arrived, the desk clerk advised that the water was off. They told me it would be on within 30 minutes. About an hour later the water did come on and it was brown and rusty. I needed to take a shower so ran the water for a while until the rust cleared up. Once it cleared up, I got in and after a few minutes, was very unhappy to run out of hot water! "Door keys have to be re set almost daily, no housekeeping come to your room. When you go to the desk for toilet paper or trowels, bad attitudes. At least the men. One woman was kind. And now they make you do a $50 deposit. Of course it’s refundable. But it takes weeks to come back to you. Dirty, smelly, and you have to watch your car. "Room was clean and freshly made daily. Fitness room consisted of a broken treadmill No free weights . The fitness room was dirty and gross. Breakfast ( if you can call it that) consisted of some slices of white bread and 2 two kinds of cereal.... Kids shouting/ screaming and running up and down the hall late at night. No consideration for other customers. Someone needs to burn this place down and rebuild it from ground up"
