"We stayed at the Ramada to attend a football game at IUP, so were gone most of the time. Facility is old but was once a very nice property. It is maintained fairly well, but shows wear. First and foremost - The staff! They were ALL amazing!. Very professional and attentive ( So nice to see people at front desk dressed up instead of hoodies ). Made sure we knew everything about the hotel, and directions to where we were going. The room was remodeled. But flooring instead of carpet. Did not like that cold floor. Interesting furniture. All had open spaces so we could store bags, shoes, cooler, etc instead of stumbling over them. Smart. Bathroom. Horrible. Was not remodeled. You had to see it to understand. Nice new sink but toilet and shower room were abysmal. However, in fairness all was very clean. Property has bar and short order restaurant. The night we went the manager was only one on staff as others called off. She ran bar and kitchen and was fantastic. Pool looked nice but was closed waiting on part, Would have been nice to add that note when we made reservations or in messages we received a few days prior to confirm. Parking was good. Heat A/C worked. Oh. Small fridge in room was in large plastic tray. However the lip of the tray prevented the door from being opened. My husband had to lift the front just over the lip so we could use it. But all in all it was a good stay."
