"Very friendly staff. Our room appears to have been updated. Very roomy; comfortable beds; great shower; good breakfast although i left protein - eggs, sausage... office was very acccomodating when we requested an extra night. Fair price."
"We had a one night stay recently. We were on the newly-renovated 4th floor, which was very nice. The room was very clean. We were there early, so we went to the 99 Restaurants bar that was right in front of the Comfort Inn. Check-in was easy and the staff were very pleasant. Room was very nice. We did have an issue with the television, but staff responded quickly and solved the issue.
The free breakfast in the morning was very nice. Pancakes, waffles (with fruit toppings & syrup), bacon, breads, bagels and muffins, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts. Many beverage options. A very nice selection! Staff was right there to replenish anything that was running low.
Parking was plentiful, and right in front of the entrance. Check-out was fast and easy.
I would highly recommend Comfort Inn & Suites!"
"We enjoyed our stay at the historic Latchis Hotel. You really get the feeling of stepping back in time. The staff were very helpful and provided recommendations on places to eat besides just checking us in. The room was fine and the working record player with records was a nice touch. Parking is about a half block away behind the hotel. Make sure you see the historic Latchis Theater’s main room. It is really amazing and will definitely take you back in time."
"The deadbolt lock was very difficult to work.
The linoleum floor in the main body of the room may have been swept and mopped but I suspect the mop was dirty from the room before because when I get out of the shower and walked down across the room on a towel, it came out, filthy underneath where my feet had been rubbing the floor."
"The Black Mountain Inn has seen some decades...but it is well kept up with kindly staff.
--Immediately off the I-91 exit, on the main road into Brattlelboro with fast food and cafes nearby.
--Room as described and parking available next to it
--Marvelous motel cat is part of the welcome committee
--Maps and brochures as well as knowledgeable staff
--Negative? The "breakfast" is actually coffee, various snack bars and pkg'd baked goods and yogurt. So, if you really need breakfast, you'll have to go out..."
