"Room was spacious with all conveniences yet it had a stale smoke smell. After a 3 week stay, we had to wash all clothing when we got home. The configuration of the complex was odd and not easily navigated, especially to beach access. Only one elevator for the entire building. Check-in was frustrating due to all the instructions and warnings of fees for this and that. We also traveled with a service animal and did not feel welcome at all. If our service animal was not with its handler or didn’t wear the doggie bags we were given, there would be a $350 fine. Lots of fines for silly things. We also wanted to extend our stay for another 10 days because we were there for medical treatment. We were told we had to check out, check back in and move units. We loaded the car, checked out then were called an hour later and told our unit was ready. The new unit was down the hall. Over the next 10 days, no one ever used the unit we were previously in making us wonder why we really had to move. The beach view was very limited, not exactly what we expected. We spent 3 weeks there, it was quiet and clean but we most likely wouldn’t stay there again. "
"I visited in the off-season, but being in a hotel on the water was fantastic. I caught two beautiful sunsets the weekend I was there, and from the back parking lot of the hotel, you can walk to the embankment of yard where it meets the Bogue Sound. My hotel room was great; breakfast was good. My only minor issue is that the pillows were not as solid as some others I've slept on at Hilton/Hampton hotels, but that's an easy fix: bring your own pillows. I shouldn't have assumed they'd be the same as other hotels. All else was wonderful!"
"Hotel was fine, but a guest across the hall had a dog that barked the entire night. had to go down to lobby at 2 am to beg for somehting to be done. "
"The location is phenomenal. Very close to the beach and golf course. Very quiet and relaxing environment. Coffee set up in the lobby an added bonus. Can’t wait for a return trip. Also pet friendly think the dogs had more fun than I did."
