"Staff was ok didn’t take long to check in, the problem arose when I walked in to our room. At first it seemed clean enough. Later on I went to the bathroom and there was a cockroach on the counter . Gross but I didn’t make a big deal about it .around 5am i Went to the restroom, I turn the light on and there’s at least 5-6 cockroaches scattered around the bathroom! Honestly got my wife up and we left immediately. Truly disgusting"

"This place had no working security lock, no smoke detector, there was blood on the wall, the bathroom door frame was kicked in, the TV was ripped off the wall and not working, no phone, and it was absolutely filthy. The staff was would do nothing about it. Zero stars."

"I come to Lamesa pretty often and after staying here I will NEVER stay anywhere else. The owners are two of the best people I have ever met in my life. They were not only helpful and accommodating but comforting and supportive. They stayed on the phone with me until my room was ready and made me feel like a member of their family. Consider yourself lucky to stay here and know this gem of a couple!"
