"This was an AMAZING stay. Beautiful location and wonderful hosts. The drive up to the place took getting used to, but we expected that with a rental car. We stayed during the terrible heat wave and it was absolutely our safe haven during this part of our vacation. Thank you to our wonderful hosts - the breakfast was much appreciated with croissants and chocolatine and coffee every morning. Merci beaucoup. We hope to come back!"

"A very convenient and comfortable base for our six-day exploration of the Périgord Noir region. Free parking. An easy walk into Sarlat old town. Breakfast was generous, sometimes we skipped lunch later. Quite a few restaurants and cafes nearby. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, if that is important to you. "La situation de l'hôtel est un atout certain ainsi que ses nombreuses aménités. Nous avons en effet été témoins de certains problèmes rapportés dans d'autres commentaires comme la prise qui se détache. La chambre était petite, mais propre et les lits confortables. La dame au comptoir était charmante et vraiment aidante. Le sentiment est celui d'un village vacances qui souffre d'un certain vieillissement, mais notre expérience a été très bonne. "Beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. Room was small but comfortable bed. We did visit during a heatwave so the lack of air conditioning was a shame but we knew there wasn’t any when we booked. We paid 12€ each for breakfast which was well worth the money. Woke to a small market right outside the hotel which was a lovely bonus. Overall value for money it was spot on. "Excellent location for restaurants etc, helpful staff, spacious room with comfortable bed. Unfortunately there is no free onsite secure parking as the Expedia Hotel details state ie “ Onsite parking available Convenient and secure onsite parking, a rare amenity in the area.”. This is not at all accurate, You have to park on the closest street to the property. Free parking is only between 6pm and 9am. We paid €15 for three hours before the 6pm free time.
