"Friendly and happy staff in all areas which says a lot about how the hotel is run.
Had my room unexpectedly upgraded on arrival due to a fault found with the originally booked room.
The room I had did have a small issue with the private jacuzzi leaking but no major issues.
Food and drink were excellent throughout my stay.
Highly recommend staying here to anybody wanting a few days of relaxing peace after touring the country."

"Talalla Retreat is marketed as a serene oceanfront wellness escape. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with that image.
I prepaid for a Sea View Category Room. Upon arrival, I was shown to a room in a separate “new” building far from the sea, facing jungle greenery with a shared balcony. It did not reflect what most guests would reasonably expect from a sea view booking.
