"We found Mataro to be a great place from which to come and go to Barcelona a this hotel was an easy place to stay. Just a walk along the waterfront to get to the train! The rooms are pretty basic but clean and adequate. The breakfast is good. Staff were lovely and helpful."

"The staff was súper helpful, but the unexpected great thing about it was the history of the place tying it to the Roman village of Barcino (the oldest part of Barcelona) with ruins that can be seen below the hotel’s floor. It is also located in the midst of the Gothic Quarter, near the Cathedral. Very, very nice overall."
