"The hotel staff was very friendly. It is the prime location to access the beach with great snorkeling. We seen many tropical fish and a family of 6 stingrays swimming by us. The rooms are a little dated and the carpet had some stains but nothing major. I am picky when it comes to hotel cleanliness and I felt comfortable there. The pool was awesome, it has a lazy river and a hidden jacuzzi which was great because it was over capacity and could enjoy it without feeling too crowded."
"We had a wonderful stay at Royal Lahaina! The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always smiling, making us feel the Hawaiian atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The hotel was clean, beautifully renovated, and offered amazing ocean views.
We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the location, which was perfect for relaxing while still being close to nearby attractions. The trolley service to Whalers Village was a great bonus and made getting around very convenient.

"We were given a room on the tenth floor, and the hotel is doing extensive renovations on the 11th, so there is loud noises from 8 am till 5 pm. You cannot be in the room at all if you want quiet. We talked to someone who was on the 12th floor and they had the same experience and were also quite upset. We were not given a warning or choice, nor a partial refund or discount at all. Would NOT stay here again."
"Loved the resort, staff, cleanliness, and location, but you can tell its age. The pools need some work, elevators, even the TV in the room is old and outdated."
