"Best spot for us in Kihei! Walk to beaches, great food nearby, shuttle driver to take us to shopping, further beaches & restaurants. Beach chair rental at hotel. Super friendly staff. I love the pool and pool bar with food. Live music that sets the mood at night. I can't wait to return. Our trip was perfect. "

"From the moment we arrived, Maui Banyan exceeded every expectation. The property is immaculate — our unit was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully appointed, and felt like a true home away from home rather than a generic hotel room.
The location in Kihei is unbeatable. You’re steps from the beach, walking distance to great restaurants and shops along South Kihei Road, and perfectly positioned to explore everything South Maui has to offer. We never felt like we needed to drive far for anything.

"Friendly staff, nice pool. Decent rooms.
Restaurant was not good and very overpriced; worst meals of the trip.
Odd that you have to request your room to be cleaned, and 24 hours in advance.
The keys were terrible; deactivated constantly. "

"The room was very nice. I suggest the west side of the building for nice beach view. Beautiful surroundings, only surprising disappointment was unfriendly staff. Over all a great vacation. Mahalo"

"Most peaceful beach, gorgeous views, within walking distance to some of the most iconic restaurants, and a great grocery store with delicious poke! Feels like home, everyone (guests, staff, etc.) are all so friendly. We saw a monk seal, sea turtles, and whales! This is the best place to be in all of Maui. We met a couple who told us they’d been vacationing to the Mauian since they honeymooned 50 years ago!!! There’s a reason they keep coming back, and we will too! ❤️❤️❤️"

"We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The location was ideal, close to everything we needed while still being quiet and relaxing.
Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. Everything was well organized, and we really appreciated the attention to detail.
Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!"
