"This is the best casino hotel resort in Northern California. They are the sweetest people there and everything is always clean and accommodating and I love it so much."
"Wow! Very impressed with this little hidden gem. I was immaculately clean and upkeep was amazing. Amenities similar to higher rated big hotel chains. Loved that we could walk across the parking lot to an excellent meal at their sister restaurant. Highly recommend Granzella’s."
"This was a wonderful motel! Clean. Super cozy family-run atmosphere, plants all over, a table out front, helpful staff. There is a chair beside each room for sitting outside. I took a walk on the beautiful river trail right behind the motel. It went past a park and a dock. Great parking. I had to leave super early, so night staff set me up w a coffee maker, two pots worth of coffee and my choice of yogurt, breakfast bars & some nice fresh fruit for breakfast on the road. I chose to drive here from Yuba City- same price as the seedy motels in the Yuba City Marysville area. Cute town."
"Thin walls. Could hear the neighbours talking all night long. It was clean enough, but it was a bit run down. Almost all the lower floors were being remodelled so nothing available down stairs and no elevator. Like all Motel 6’s, no shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer or extra pillows."
"Pros: close to the in town casino, rooms were very clean and well maintained. Plenty of towels and yes also have an ice machine. Side bed nightstands for each side with plug ins.
Cons:
Major issues with connecting to the internet… most of the time did not work even with their password.
The thermostat remote control didn’t work in the room very well.
Shower head has very weak water pressure.
Toilet seat very small.
No nightstand lamps although the side switch by the bed turns on but extremely bright when waking up.
TV remote has only one channel that works. No instructions on how to operate tv channels."

If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of seclusion away from public hotel lifts and busy reception areas while still allowing you the enjoyment of travel.
