"Nice hotel. Great customer service. Has a wonderful and peaceful beach on the lake. You can go on kayak, included on reservation. Nice pool. Comfortable beds. AC works like a charm. Everything is quite delightful except for the food. Expensive and not that good. (Breakfast is OK, but lunch/Dinner menu not so much) I Do recommend this hotel. I'd definetely go back. (half hour trip from Airport or to tikal)"

"Staff was wonderful, food was great, food service was awesome , pool was clean , transportation was easy to arrange, place was quiet and easy to enjoy the nature sounds, the one thing I did not enjoy was the mosquitos! They are everywhere even with the bed netting we were severely attacked. Bring ALOT of bug repellent. Other than this problem. Place was awesome. I do plan on staying here again. Thank you Leticia for your wonderful food service."

"I loved it. You may too IF you like bare simple, ecological, country side style. Very affordable ! Good convenient location close to Tikal."

"Beyond thankful for this place! I am absolutely returning and recommending to others. Why? 1) the location and venue is gorgeous and the amenities for paddleboard and kayak was a plus, the lake has a board to jump off, the coffee was delicious, the beautiful animals that greet you, the food besides being absolute delicious was super healthy and clean and beautiful presentation. The juices were fresh waters, the desserts and apps a plus. Lost but not least the people were very helpful when I...

"Wir kamen abends später an und die Unterkunft konnte uns weder etwas zu essen, noch etwas zu trinken zur Verfügung stellen. Wir mussten hungrig ins Bett gehen. Am nächsten Tag war der Strom ausgefallen und wir mussten kalt duschen und konnten keinerlei dringliche Sachen im Internet erledigen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war nicht in Ordnung."

"La alberca no era lo que esperaba "

"We loved out stay at Casa de Don David! The grounds are beautiful and the rooms were comfortable for our visit to Tikal. The food was also delicious. The staff helped us arrange a driver for airport pickup and dropoff as well as transportation to and from Tikal. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!"

"Loved the vibe this property had. My overall stay was pretty good, the food was made fresh to order, the staff were as helpful as possible as my Spanish is extremely limited. The room could have been a bit cleaner but it’s understandable it’s basically out in the forest so perfectly clean wasn’t expected. It was unfortunate the power was out for the majority of my last day stay, I was checking out so I didn’t bother to ask about it. I will say, I’m more than sure I was grossly over charged for...

"I felt so welcomed and taken care of at Taitza. The owners and staff are kind and instrumental in facilitating my time navigating around Flores and Tikal. The property is a fair distance from the island but I was given boat rides to the city to meet my Tikal tour and my plane. Beautiful property, delicious food, highly recommended."

We loved the on site museum, bicycles, kayaks, hiking trails and the lovely monkey boat tour. It was an amazing experience. I will definitely stay here again in the future."

"Habitación súper limpia, personal atento y amable en todo momento. La vista al lago increíble. Invitados a regresar"

"A acomodação estava muito limpa e é bem espaçosa. Fomos muito bem recepcionados e nos deram muitas dicas do que fazer na cidade. O Café da manhã é maravilhoso."

"The hotel, consisting of separate cabanas, is conveniently located on a main road near Flores, Guatemala. We arrived in a high-roof van with a roof rack and were able to access the property without any issues. We greatly enjoyed the grilled dinner for 4. The pool was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful!"
