"The room wasn't clean at all and had a horrible smell. I never even stayed here and asked for a refund as I was leaving and they said despite the fact that the room was so dirty. They even had an unclean hallway. The bathtub had brownish stains on it and the drawers in the dresser wouldn't close were wide open. The refrigerator was gross and was wide open when I walked in and had an awful smell to it. 0/10 experience."

"The room was filthy, the tub had 5 inches of standing water in it. I had to snake out a giant wad of hair from the tub drain. Door did not seem to lock properly, had to use chair to keep door and curtain closed. This was the 2nd room we tried, the first had no functioning ac and was so filthy, ceiling sagging. Dogs barking in the room next door. The entire hotel was horrible, dirty, rundown, had what appeared to be unhoused people or prostitutes hanging around, partying loudly in the corridors....

"The room was recently renovated and it is very nice, the mattresses and pillows were excellent and so comfortable. The walk-in shower was awesome and plenty of hot water. The coffee is fresh ground - delicious. The staff were kind and friendly and check in was spot on. I stayed at a Hampton the night before and this was so much better. "

"I booked two rooms online last Friday and when I arrived they were overbooked and could not accommodate us, which I understand but when I requested my money for two rooms to be refunded, I have repeatedly been told I checked out of the room and completed my stay so they would not validate my claim. "Look… We were in a jam. We reserved a $240/night room in Richmond and it was unsafe. There were no other rooms in RVA so we had to branch out. The room at Days Inn Ashland was a little sketchy, at best. "

"The beds were comfortable and the room smell good. The best part is the parking. Right outside the room. Loved it "

"We stayed 2 days and 2 nights. We had no television remote, therefore no entertainment, not even music for the entire stay. I even asked them to provide us with a tv remote after the first night, and explained the problems we were we were having getting anything on the tv to work without it. And still, even after promising to bring us another remote, they never came. Additionally, there was no exhaust fan in the restroom, nor was there a working smoke detector or fire alarm device in the room...

"The worst hotel I have ever seen. We arrived and they were overbooked because of an event nearby so we were forced to upgrade one of our rooms. The condition was terrible. No hot water, a toilet leaking all over the floor, everything including the toilets and towels were dirty and disgusting. It seems that the owners live on site and don't have any staff so everything is falling apart. The mattress on the pull out couch was vile. We put our kids on the beds and wouldn't let them touch the floor...

"Very dirty shower curtains, mini fridge was on the floor, asked for queen bed room and got two twin bedrooms instead and da bed was very squeaky smh was not satisfied "

"Parking is fine. Front staff person was rude. Waited 20 minutes to get checked in. Noone was at the desk and when they arrived didn't apologize for the wait"

"Drug paraphernalia on the nightstand. Sheets have stains , sink and room not cleaned before checkin. Left this hotel mid-stay to go to another. Expedia nor the hotel refunded my stay even though I provided pictures"
