"Staff were really pleasant and were not an issue. The room and hotel is massively outdated and not worth the money it is sold for. In my opinion it is falsely advertised The pictures looked nothing like our room. The bedding was a yellow colour. The headboard has sweat stains on it. "The property was easy to find. We were met at the door and were made to feel very welcome. Our hosts discussed the accommodation itself followed by a welcoming brew and a chat regarding the local area, places to eat and our breakfast order for the morning. We were recommended a lovely Italian restaurant in nearby St Boswells which was really nice. The views from our room were beautiful and really peaceful. "Great property, clean, excellent master bedroom, well equiped, brilliant location and in a peaceful spot, however the hot tub stopped working / went to standby mode and couldnt be used so felt like the one main reason we booked this property and couldnt use it. The stairs are very steep and were difficult to go up and down. Ideal for kielder and surrounding areas. "
