"The staff was excellent, so very helpful when I realized I left a jacket behind. They were able to send it ahead to where we were staying in a few days. Breakfast on the seventh floor was lovely both the food, view & staff. It was an about 15 to 20 minute walk into the old town but easy to do. We really enjoyed our time at the grand artist."

"We had a very lovely welcome from Anna and she told us where to eat etc. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay to explore the area as we were en-route down to the South but the scenary and area looked fantastic as we drove through. The Hotel was lovely and clean and the staff very welcoming. The breakfast was good too.... basic but good."

"This hotel is fantastic. Spotlessly clean with the comfiest pillows I’ve ever slept on. I even took a photo of the label so I could try and buy one back home. There’s a vending machine in the lobby and tea and coffee facilities. The shuttle bus is a people carrier and it’s only a few minutes from the airport. The staff are lovely and very helpful. I don’t think I will ever go to Bilbao again but if I do I will definitely be staying here. ♥️"

"Easy parking. Remember this is an efficiency so nothing but the essentials: clean sheets, towels, toilet and shower. I suggest asking for a room at the back as it can get noisy out front! The breakfast is great so take the breakfast. Finding a sitdown restaurant within walking which is open before 8pm is tough. Locals are quite reserved like Parissians!"

"Muy bien en todos los aspectos. Un hotel con mucho encanto y muy original. Se ve que tiene sus años, pero de ahí el encanto; y la decoración acorde a la temática. La habitación bien de tamaño, limpia y acogedora. El jardin grande y precioso. Muy bonito en general. Se admiten mascotas, pero no molestan nada. Ubicación muy buena, a poca distancia de todo. En cuanto al personal, un 10. Muy atentos y simpáticos. Si vuelvo a Laredo lo elegiré de nuevo, sin dudarlo."

"Despite turning up in biker gear I was welcomed warmly by the lady on reception. The breakfast options were explained and I went to the room. The room was clean and had a good array of bits and pieces, 2 small waters, dental care kit etc, a hairdryer with additional bits I don’t know the use for being A; male and B; bald. "I don’t know if all the rooms are the same but after a very long day and the usual stresses of flying the one thing you need is sleep. Not possible in the room I was in. Everything was great until it was time to switch the lights off. Directly above my bed was the brightest green “Exit” sign I had ever seen. No matter how I tried to position myself in the bed the bright light was beaming into my eyes. It was so bright it lit up the whole room. In the end the only thing I could do to escape it...
