"Was a short stop before I travelled by ferry, checked in late, had clear instructions from the owner, great communication. Room was really spacious, very comfortable bed and pillows. Included robes to use and a large bath sheet, which if you stay at hotels regularly you’ll appreciate! Really impressed overall with the booking, far nicer than I expected. Great area too. Safe, quiet and close to anything you might need"

Felt very homely and welcomed and helped in with our luggage by Michael and we found him a great host .The room was immaculate and so many nice touches like fresh milk and filtered water and Yorkshire teabags which are my kinda cup of tea. "Michael is a gentleman, he was very quick to sort out an issue that arose during my stay. He went out of his way to do all he could to make the stay more relaxed and enjoyable. Please don't think you're paying for a hotel room at this price however, what I got I was more than happy with and while lots of people will complain, you get what you pay for. For Liverpool football fans this place is literally right next door! Look out the windows and you can literally reach out and touch the Stadium! "

"Simon and Sue welcomed us as old friends of the family and after 2 days we thought we were. They are lovely people, very obliging, we had a fantastic breakfast included. They provided excellent advice on the sights of Liverpool and transport to and from, including the Mersey Ferry, Thankyou for the lift, and a personalised map. Every part of our stay was easy. We thank Simon and Sue for a wonderful stay. Pam and I can not recommend 2 The Rocklands highly enough. 10 out of 5 stars."
