"No ac in room although marketed with ac. Drunk man in hallway for several hours during the night with no front desk staff and emergency number for hotel staff didn't respond"

"This is not really close to anything, so be prepared to walk for at least 15 minutes (not including the 4 flights of stairs) to get anywhere. It is an old Venice property, so it is a little musty, though they have decorated the rooms well. The view out of the room is a courtyard, not a canal. When someone flushes, it will be heard throughout the building. Breakfast was functional. Staff was very helpful - Barbara can definitely plan your day!"

"The location of our stay was good and the suite was clean and staff very friendly. We would love to give it 5 stars because the owner, Andrea, made an effort to address our concerns by replacing the bed after the first night which greatly improved our comfort. We had requested to change rooms because there was an annoying noise coming from the laundry room next to ours. Unfortunately, we were unable to move rooms. The wifi and cell service were poor and the Air Conditioning wasn’t strong enough...

"The staff was very useful and dedicated. The breakfast was tasty and generous. The room was also spacious with a great canal view. I find the AC was not strong enough for the size, they provided us with fan which was perfect."

"The staff was superb. They were very attentive and spoke excellent English which was a plus. They steered us to the best restaurants. The problem is the hotel itself. It’s in bad need of a refurbishment. That aside, our stay was very good"
