Cute little boutique hotel, friendly staff. Building is historic and charming, if you dig this type of places. Clean sheets and bedding but can give the carpets and windows a good wash.

Whilst location on Washington Ave is perfect for Miami Beach and the staff are courteous and friendly, the hotel itself dearly requires a makeover. All worn down and grimy, it's not very pleasant to spend your days and nights at this place. In addition, the air con sets itself to around 60F continuously, which is annoying. Spend a little more for a more pleasant experience.

The staff, especially the manager who was there when we checked in, was very friendly and accommodating. We requested for a quiet room, and she gave us a room on the upper floor and not close to the club next door. Check-in process was quick and easy. The manager recommended "Limoncello" the Italian restaurant in the lobby of the hotel (which we like as well). She showed us the restaurant and reminded our food server to give us 20% discount. The hotel is close to Cruise Port of Miami. We stayed in this hotel just for one night. The room is clean with all amenities as advertised, but I think the lobby furniture need some cleaning or updating.

The front desk staff was great—friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I appreciated that housekeeping cleans the room every other day. That said, the hotel feels a bit run down. In the bedroom, the window blind was broken, the mirror paint was peeling, and the tissue holder was stained. The bathroom door’s wood railing also showed noticeable wear. When the bathroom was cleaned, the small towels were not replaced, although the bath towels were changed. The room did not have a microwave or a dresser for clothes, which made organizing a bit difficult, though the side closet was nice. The furniture overall felt old, but I did like having a small refrigerator. The hotel could really benefit from a deeper level of cleaning. The doors had gray marks, and the carpets seemed like they needed a thorough cleaning or replacement. There was also a noticeable humidity smell in the hallways. Overall, the staff was a highlight, but the property needs updates and improved maintenance to match the service.
