"I definitely enjoyed my at the Rinn Horikawa Gojo, the room was very spacious for three people and everything was very clean. The staff was also very nice, helpful, and English friendly. The hotel also provided us to do laundry, which is definitely a plus. The location of the hotel is very convenient, there is a bus stop right in front of the entrance and a 7/11 just a few minutes away by walking. This hotel was also close by other places we were interested in exploring. If I am back in Kyoto I...

"Such an unforgettable Japanese experience in the heart of Kyoto! The traditional house is well kept and equipped, offers us a very comfortable place for living. The place is centrally located, close to JR and metro stations. Close by there are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities, all very local. Communication with the ower was easy and responsive. Highly recommended and I will stay here again next time!"

"Overall, a great value at this location! My room was spacious, on a high floor, with many nice amenities included. Bottom floor has a very convenient cafeteria space. I do wish they cleaned the heater unit or bathroom fan as it was blowing dust around. The other issue was that either soundproofing was not good or some guests were very inconsiderate. I could hear conversations in the hallway that were sometimes yelled across at 3am. I could also hear the upstairs guest slamming their bathroom...

Akemi (property owner) is a wealth of knowledge and gave a lot of tips and recommendations. Be sure to visit Sukemasa for dinner if you like Gyoza. It is very close and yummy for 1000yen! "The rooms are always cozy and quiet, as well as the bathrooms are AMAZING here. I love the japanese style washroom as well as the beds are comfy. Only complaint is they are a little low to the ground, but the only person who had a problem with that was my parents. Other than that this property is so beautiful and quiet and low key, my favorite place to stay thank you all in Kyoto!!"
