"The spa has limited facilities and not open to guests of the hotel during weekends. Guests who book through Expedia get rooms that are not the best often next to elevators. During the weekends the pool area has many families with young children making the area quite noisy. It’s best to book there for the weekdays."

"Really lovely upgrade from the Confidant hotel to the Andaz. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful in every way. Room was clean and spacious and loved the beach and pool service as well. Take a yoga or pilates class on the roof if you can - the view is amazing!"

"First and foremost, the staff was beyond exceptional. The gals were my favorite, kind, compassionate, and professional. The rooms (we stayed before a cruise and after the cruise) were both a little dirty and run down. The television remotes were absolutely disgusting, and there always seemed to be some type of food on the carpets. Bathrooms are very small and there’s nowhere to really put anything down besides on the toilet, or very edge of sink. While there we noticed that they are actively working on renovations around the hotel, and the work they are doing is well done. It’s not easy to repair a hotel while still operating it as a hotel at the same time. The pool area was great, as clean as one can get and immediate beach access and day passes for chairs and umbrellas. Wanted to have ordered food, glad I went down to the restaurant and looked around before ordering. Very dirty, horribly smelly bar and restaurant below the hotel. Others at the pool had mentioned how they’d looked into the window and then decided to pass due to the conditions. Would I stay again? Maybe. But there’s not too much around other than the beach. A few good restaurants nearby, but it’s pretty limited."

"Breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. Felt like a resort. We had a partial ocean view room and the balcony view was amazing, as was the room. The staff was wonderful. However the person who assisted with checkout at the desk was not very friendly. It felt a little like he thought I didn’t belong there. I would definitely stay there again. Valet parking only, for $50 a day but the booking info said onsite parking options include a garage."
