"I have no idea how this place charges a resort fee. This place is far from being a resort. The outside is creepy looking and the pool was not even habitable!! I would not stay again."

"Really enjoyed our stay at Capt. Pips! If you love a good deal, old florida style and simple Keys living/amenities...this is the spot! This fit the budget for a quick over night stay. Walkable to restaurants and of course the old 7 mile bridge at sunset is always a treat. We'll be back!"

"A classic property in the old style of the lower keys from the 70s. Even though rooms are a bit dated, they are very clean with a great floating dock to moor your boat. Nice marina right next door with a good ramp. If your game is to fish the back country this is your place."

"This was the perfect place, right on the ocean and a full kitchen so you can cook your own meals. The room was very clean, I loved that they had a laundry basket and laundry detergent in the room for you, came in handy seeing as we stayed for 7 days.
Amazing place to watch the sunset from a hammock and we got lucky enough to see some nurse sharks at the docks right outside of our hotel."
