"Solo traveller and 1st time to Edinburgh. Located right on the royal mile and within walking distance to historical sites, restaurants, and to top it off even with Fringe Fest happening, CODE made sure that their guest were well taken care of. The Pend which is the communal space and social theater room, were amazing. The inside bar was a great plus. I especially loved how CODE had luggage storage for early arrivals and late departures. Would stay again and highly recommended to anyone."

"The staff is so kindly. However I had the bad luck to be at a room without good ventilation It makes the room feel hot. I know this is appreciated in the city but was my experience
The room bed is comfortable but the floor makes a noise every step I did"

"A hostel for alcoholics and people who don't want to get any rest. High prices considering the lack of peace and quiet. Mixed-gender rooms; I ended up sharing mine with two women who came back drunk and rowdy. Stay away if you're looking for tranquility. It's midnight right now, and they have a terrace with karaoke that can be heard right through my window. I do not recommend it."
