"We picked this location as it has an 8 rating and a pool. Upon arrival it was not clear how this property received that rating. It smelled of smoke and air freshener and was not well cleaned. After check in, I went to the lobby to ask a question only to find out that the pool chemicals had been tested and it was unsuitable for swimming and would be closing immediately. My daughter was currently in the pool. It was very frustrating to find out the only reason we chose that hotel was no longer suitable for swimming and she had been in a pool that was not safe."

"The property was very nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was average at best. The hotel was full the entire time we were there due to a number of sport activities in the city. Due to this, the hotel ran out of several breakfast items each day we were there. The gentleman who maintained the breakfast items was slow to respond to guest requests and to keep various items replenished in a timely manner. The television in our room was small compared to other hotels we've stayed at and the reception was poor for some reason."
