"The room were very nice, the hotel itself was extremely nice and the area felt very safe. Would definitely recommend others to stay. Breakfast was plentiful and the pool was clean."
"The Fairfield is a wonderful hotel! The staff is amazing, the food is delicious both for breakfast and the restaurant and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. We love to stay here!"
"This hotel is locally owned and in a convenient location. The hotel, the room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Nice to have a frig and blackout curtains. Our room was very quiet, never heard any hallway noise or outdoor noise either, despite being not far from the highway or the railroad tracks. Everything was well-maintained and the staff was pleasant enough. Our only critique is of the breakfast. While there is a variety of options to help yourself, they quickly ran out of fresh fruit, bagels, and yogurt. The morning staff did not seem very attentive to refreshing the items. And when we stopped at the desk to check out of our room, the staff person was nowhere to be found and did not respond to calling out or knocking. Others were trying to check out as well. Eventually, he sauntered up to the desk but did not apologize for the inattentiveness. On the whole, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. With a few minor adjustments, this hotel could be a real gem."
"Room was cheap and the bedding was clean. Bed was uncomfortable, towels didn't feel clean, I had to plug in the cable box to get it to work. This is the kind of place that makes you feel dirty just staying there, but like I said it was $90 a night compared to twice that somewhere else in red wing, and I just needed a place to sleep."
"4 stars because the bed was clean and comfortable and AC was cold. Otherwise would have been 3 stars. Bed was the only clean thing in the room - dirt, dust, stains, hair on floor, dresser and other surfaces. Only dim light in bathroom, vent grossly dirty and mostly non-functional. Bathtub drained so slow it filled while you showered. Crack under hall door so large bugs came in and you heard everything. No chain lock on door. We booked on short notice when there wasn’t much else available- wouldn’t stay again. Choice hotels - if you have a choice, stay elsewhere!"
"It did not have any hot water. I had to take a cold shower. I told the manager about it and all thay said that they will tell the them a about it. I paid over 160.00 for a room with no hot water."
