"Room was compact and very typical of a rural Japanese hotel stay. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Big shoutout to the Restaurant staff, who assist me when I struggled with me limited Japanese skills. The food was great and the water went out of his way to work with me. The little extras made the stay even better, gift in the fridge, fresh water each day, free ice cream and yakult when using the onsen, the manga library and storing our bags post stay before we caught our train. Only thing to improve was the dark curtains that are dated to help brighten the place."
