The property was getting much needed repairs as we were leaving, and the room some improvement but was clean and well stocked with supplies and amenities. The only issue was the oven was out, but our rep Katie ordered us a pizza which we appreciated very much. Thanks for the stay"

"Room was clean with balconies for some outdoor views. Is in the heart of waikiki so walking distant to many restaurants in the waikiki strip. A car is recommended if you want to explore areas outside of the waikiki beach area. Most tourist activities are within 15 to 20 minutes of the hotel. Valet service was required but worth it."

"I stayed at White Sands from March 31 to April 4, 2026. It was just my daughter and me. Overall, I would rate my stay 3 out of 5 stars. The property is in a great location—there’s a mall about a 5-minute walk away and the beach is roughly a 12–15 minute walk. The staff is friendly, and the amenities are nice. "The room was fine for my purposes. The neighborhood is away from the bar scene and fairly quiet at night. The 7-11 stocks almost everything for a quick meal and is just a few steps away. The hotel is older and you should keep some earplugs for any of the hotels in Waikiki "

"While everything was clean and the lobby and Holo Holo cafe were great and convenient, the mattresses were lumpy as if not turned in ages. Service was great at check in but housekeeping doesn’t answer and when we called the front desk, we got a slow response that took over an hour to respond (we requested toilet paper!) The elevators are desperately low (we were lucky to be on the 2nd floor so it was faster to take the stairs). The vendor the hotel uses for TV programming is wrong half the time....

"Beautiful condo with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Loved the view of Diamond head, daily sunrise. Parking is included and the location is perfect. The host is very friendly , kind, accessible and made the check in easy. We loved our stay here and plan to return again. "

Had to turn on shower on by the valve on the shower head. No hot water and the shower was so awful I wore my flip flops to quickly rinse off in cold water.
