"Everything about what you pay for, However they completely ignore your Do not Disturb sign on your door. I was woken up to banging at 7am for them to grab my trash, and once at 11 for them to do a full cleaning on the room. Both times I had my sign up. The lady at the counter mentioned no manditory cleanings either. Just an inconvenience, really."

"I was in town for a concert and chose this property across the river from the downtown core - a short walk away - as the parking was free. A free shuttle to the venue (and pick up afterwards) was a bonus as the weather was dubious. I prepaid for the breakfast buffet which was standard fare but hot and convenient. Our server was lovely. The room was clean and the decor updated. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again without hesitation! "

"My husband and I decided to stay the night at the Grand Amway Hotel in Grand Rapids to celebrate his birthday. We selected a room on the 24th floor. The room itself was average with a typical TV, desk, chair, and king sized bed. The dimmer lights were a nice touch. Unfortunately the bathroom was a huge disappointment. The water pressure from the sink was low and it took so long for the water to heat up. The toilet required flushing three times when just flushing toilet paper because the paper...

"Nice downtown location. Convenient access to the Van Andel Arena. Great parking structure for an additional fee. All staff extremely friendly. We had a very spacious room but it felt outdated with items showing a lot of wear and outlets not having USB or C charging stations. A lot of odd and different smells throughout the hotel. The bathroom was dark and not very clean. There was trash in the bathroom when we checked in. Water pressure was low. Overall it was decent place for what we needed. "

When we requested esrly check in, we did not receive a responseand could not get instructions early eitherso by the time we could access them, we didntsignal wEarl"

"Didn’t even leave car. Was stared down by other guests who opened their doors to watch us as soon as we pulled in. Did not feel safe at all. Left without even going inside. Not worth the $75 to get s** trafficked."

"The room was clean and well stocked when we arrived. The pool was clean and perfect tempature. Hot tub was great the first day but was out of order the second day. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast and a wide variety from cold cereal to make yourself waffles with different additives and cheese omelets with sausage. Perfect stay. "

"I had to pay $40 for a pot and pan with lid and a can opener. I'm on vacation. Do you think i'm going to pack it in my luggage to bring it home? How ridiculous. If you are staying there 2 weeks or more, being able to use the stove to cook your food, because you don't want to eat out EVERY meal, should be able to have a pot and pan as part of the time that you are there, at no cost. If there less than 2 weeks, put a $40 hold on the cooking equipment at check-in and released the hold charge when...
