"This hotel is still under construction while the room we were given was clean and pretty nice. The bed was hard. The television did not work. We went to the office, but it was never fixed when we got there. We were charged $100 deposit and and it was not refunded that they said we smoked me and my boyfriend don’t even smoke. They kept our deposit refused to give it back so don’t stay at this hotel in Merrillville. There are many other nicer friendlier hotels in the area."

"We were assigned Room 101. Unfortunately, it was not clean. We found several cigarette butts under the bed, which was especially concerning since we were traveling with our toddler. We had expected a clean, non-smoking room. On a positive note, the management was friendly and helpful, but the cleanliness of the room was disappointing."

"Overall pretty great place to stay. The breakfast was better than most hotel breakfast I’ve had. They also have a decent fitness area which I appreciated and used. The room was clean and perfect temp when we walked in. Big tv and easy to use. The only issue we seemed to notice was the tub. We only showered but the center of our tub was so concaved it was very difficult to shower. Also like no water pressure. Idk if it was just our specific room or what. Besides that great place to stay."

"I’ve stayed in better for way cheaper. I was given a room with stained sheets, handprints on the wall, ice cream smeared on the walls, a missing smoke detector, and a dirty bathroom. Upon telling the front desk, they moved me to a new room which was slightly less gross, but not by much. For a nonsmoking property, it sure stunk like weed and cigarettes. The front desk personnel were super helpful with my concerns!"

"The pool area gets super hot/ humid in the summer. The area could benefit from an a/c system or an exhaust system to control the chlorine fumes and uncomfortable temp. Not bad when you're swimming, but if you are watching the kiddios it's not a great guest experiences."

"El hotel muy limpio pero no es nada Familiar no recomiendo ya que es exclusivo para personas que van a disfrutar del casino, no funciono la piscina, para llegar a las habitaciones es muy largo el trayecto tienen que caminar mucho... el gym no funciona, el spa solo funciona fines de semana... por tal motivo si piensan ir en modo familiar no es recomendable...."

"The elevators were down so had to take luggage up to 4th floor. The stairwells are not air conditioned and the 4th floor smelled like cooked cabbage. Opened the room and it smelled like dirty bedding. The staff was all VERY friendly. No gluten free safe food options."

"Better than expected! Very nice room, comfy bed. This is one of the few hotels that did NOT have a broken shower rod. Nice breakfast, would recommend!"
