"The floor in the room was dirty and one of the bedside lights had been ripped off the wall and not replaced. Most of the people staying seemed to be long term. The grounds were dirty and the buildings in poor shape Not worth calling it a motel stay away and remove it from Expedia so so other poor soul doesn’t go there"

"This place is terrible. It’s the worst I’ve ever been to. I got bitten by bed bugs that were laying in worth of five minutes. The place was really dirty and made me itchy. The bed sheets were stained and ripped. Hornets nest in the stairway. You don’t even get your money’s worth. Don’t come here ever!"

"My stay at the American was memorable. I was there for the monthly play reading and could not believe how pumping the restaurant was for a Monday night. Talk about vibe. Food was delicious, and the interior design was fun and energetic. Pat at the front desk was so helpful to me at check-in. I felt that, as a solo traveler, she gave me extra care. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean."

"I had a very unpleasant stay due to hotel amenities. Shower never got warm. I was unable to shower. They were kind offered a rm to shower but I was already late. Unable to have a shower was extremely inconvenient and felt tremendously uncomfortable. I had a meeting to attend and non working shower set me back horribly. "The photos and price fooled me. It's basically an overpriced roadside motel next to a bar and not a very nice or quiet area. Very loud traffic from rt 9. When i turned over the comfortor on the bed the underside looked so worn and dirty that i left. It would be passable if they charged $75 a night. It's not what you would expect for $115."

"I brought my dog. When I asked the front desk clerk about dog "potty" areas on the property, he didn't know of anything specific. He said anywhere is okay. I thought this odd. I chose areas on the property that were not close to the main entrance."
