"I really can't say enough about our 3 night stay at this property. The staff was wonderful - I was travel as a single mom with 3 very small children. The staff always engaged my children and often asked if we needed anything. The property is in great condition - rooms were very clean and spacious. I loved not having carpet which is hard to clean. Smart TV allowed us to have a special movie night, fridge allowed me to store food for lunches. Nice hot shower and bathtub for the kiddos. Pool and hot tub were cozy and there was always an abundance of towels. Breakfast was fine for what we needed - pastries, cereals, waffle maker, juices, eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. Great location and there was even free live music next door one night. Grocery stores, gas stations, food and beverage options very closeby. We would definitely stay here again!"
"This is one of the most adorable hotels I have stayed at! They truly make good use of all the space, and I really enjoyed the that they have a firepit outside, as well as coffee and tea throughout the day. I stay in Des Moines often that I will absolutely stay here again."
Revel Hotel Des Moines Urbandale, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"I rarely write reviews for hotels, but for a first time stay, I was quite impressed with the hotel and beauty of both the outside and inside, the friendly staff and the convenience and location. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and the lobby and bar area are very modern and charming. Highly recommended! "
"This place is amazing. I’ve never stayed in a place quite like this. I got one of the cottage themed rooms and it was amazing. It was extremely comfortable (except for the pillows but it’s rare to get good pillows in a hotel). It was so spacious it felt like the room kept going. The room I booked had a fireplace which helped my wife stay warm even though I was hot and she was cold. The shower had good room and pressure. The woman who checked me in was very friendly and informative. I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to Des Moines but if I do I’m staying here no questions ask. In fact I’m going to find out if Stoney Creek has other places. I loved this place. "
"Needed a quiet room for one night. The hotel is older and the hallways show some age. But our room was very nice and clean. The beds are comfortable and the room was quiet. The breakfast had a nice variety of choices. "
"Everything was very nice, hot in the hallway but the room was cool and quiet.
The hotel is pet friendly but they warned that there will be a $200 fine if the pets are left unattended, we were there only for one night, but we always travel with our dogs and there are times we have to leave them in the room for a bit, so keep that in mind."
