From the location (stroll down the path next to the creek right into downtown Golden - it’s a beautiful walk), to the staff who went above and beyond to make my husband’s bday special , to the awesome outdoor space to just hang out and enjoy drinks, food, and live music - it’s a 10 all around. Great small boutique hotel with all the amenities and a chill atmosphere."

"Everything was great about this hotel. The only thing that lowered my score was the AC in the room was very loud. It cooled well but the noise kept me up during the night."

"The person before us had requested late check out so our room was not ready until 1/2 hour after check in. We had arrived early so it was a wait. When we checked in we discovered the sheets were stained but the housekeeping team had gone home so we were given a set of sheets to change our own bed. The coffee pot also didn’t work. Not a very good stay for a Marriott. Breakfast was good however. There was a wide selection of healthy foods!"

"My complaint is not about my room but about my overall experience. I booked and was confirmed a wheelchair accessible room through Expedia. I even called the property ahead of time (2 weeks prior) to confirm my accessible reservation. After a 2 hour phone call and the run around from both Expedia and Home2Suites, I did confirm my reservation. When we showed up and checked in, we were sent to a non-accessible room and told no accessible rooms were available. I was also told that a manager at the...

"Only stayed 1 night for a concert at red rocks but overall it was a great experience. Definitely will stay here again for future concerts."

"Self help snack bar scanner didn’t work and staff was no help. Coffee maker broken, mattresses old and worn out. Shower fixtures loose and falling off. TV shuts off after a few minutes and staff said we had to unplug it every time we used it. I’ve machine on 4th floor did not work."

"We needed a handicap room in which I requested when I booked the hotel. We were assigned a non-handicap room. I asked staff if they can switch us because for one the tub/shower had no handrails. They advised me that being that we booked through a 3rd party we are not guaranteed the type of room I requested. We were stuck in this room for a couple of days with no effort to accommodate us. "These are the cutest rustic cabins next to a river with the best laid back outdoor atmosphere. I would book with them again and want to bring my family next time. Great experience and it is just outside of downtown Evergreen."
