"There is a lot of potential for this B&B, but there were just a few too many details to be able to give more than a 5 rating for the room we stayed in. The host was pleasant and accommodating. The location is excellent, with many good restaurants in walking distance. The night was as quiet as one would expect being in a city of this size. Parking is on site and free, which is also a bonus. The price for the small top floor rooms is also a value, but should have been a bit of a yellow...

"I was on a non-smoking floor and clearly someone or certain rooms were smoking marijuana. Could smell it clear down the hall. I think it needs to be policed better. The bar was amazing.. loved the wild west saloon"

"The location of the hotel allowed us to walk everywhere in downtown St. Paul. Our room was unique and had views of two beautiful churches, the light rail and also the state capital. The breakfast was a thoughtful arrangement of foods including soy milk which delighted me! The downstairs bar was a nice spot to sit and relax with friends. The staff was welcoming and easy to communicate with. We can't wait to come back!!"

"my advice is to stay somewhere else. to me, this building seemed like it had been used as subsidized housing by a public agency and then sold. The new owner may have transformed each of the units into a hotel room, but they couldn’t change the stairways, the elevators, or the sad depressing feeling inside the building. The apartment that I was given was perfectly fine. In a neutral kind of way, there was no problem. However, when I got off the elevator on my floor there was someone yelling “F...

"We liked the breakfast. It was a very nice hotel with a nice fitness room and laundry services. We would recommend this hotel as it was very convenient. Our minibar was broken so we did not have that convience. They said we could keep it downstairs which is not convenient but nice of them. Of course we forgot everything when we left."

"The property seems ok on the outside, but on the inside it’s rather dirty. The hotel has an intense dewy/dingy smell that doesn’t go away even if you open a window. The carpets and upholstery just seemed grimy, our room was dirty upon arrival, with our bedding having a cigarette hole in it and there being a used towel wedged behind the door that was missed during cleaning. We did not end up staying and quickly found another hotel."

"I was skeptical upon checking in. When I saw the room, there was a hole in the sheet on the bed. The air conditioner didn’t work. The Lobby wasn’t clean or welcoming. My husband and I decided we wouldn’t stay and requested a refund. The only positive thing was the girl who checked us in. She was pleasant and helpful."

"Unclean, unsafe - booked room thru Expedia - they had no rooms available (key they gave me was already occupied when I unlocked it) clerk checked two more rooms with me and both were not cleaned with bedding all over. Never got a room, no refund yet. Establishment filthy!!!"
